EMERGENCY SERVICES

Sometimes, despite our best efforts, we can't be there to provide care to our pets. Our care providers offer emergency services to clients who are receiving emergency medical care in the hospital and cannot make it home to their pet in a timely manner. We also offer follow up care while you're recovering at home. This service is available on-call and last minute and upon on-boarding, you will receive a private number to contact us if you ever need it. There is a one time per service emergency fee of $75.00 to connect with us after hours, but otherwise, all services remain the same price - we do not want to capitalize on your emergency.

This service is only available to clients who are proactive and sign up with us beforehand in the case of an emergency. Our care providers conduct a regular meet and greet, collect house access information, a key or keypad/alarm code and information is stored safely and securely until or if needed. This service is excellent to have in your back pocket if you cannot arrange care with family, friends or neighbours or you don't want to bother them. We also suggest putting us in your written emergency contact details so your family or medical team can contact us in the case that you cannot.

We developed this service in response to the reported ongoing issue of patients leaving emergency room departments not because they should, but because their pet is alone at home and needs to be fed. We want to be available to you and your pet during your time of need by making sure you don't have to worry about your pet while you receive your critical care.

Please note: We do not yet offer this service to clients who have not signed up in advance but we are working on it in order to fill this service gap in the social services and pet care sectors.
